When it comes to the top names in Indian Student Unions, ABVP (Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad) leads the charts. Most people’s think that ABVP is an affiliate of Indian national party BJP and their recent activities are fueled by the Indian national government. However, ABVP is affiliated with RSS and work on their ideology.

They are indeed bent towards national ideology and they have every right to do so. It’s not that ABVP is the only student union in news due to wrong reasons.
There are others too who do protest for events which are against their ideology. The only thing to keep in mind by student unions is to do it peacefully and within the limit of laws.
